Martin Ball was born, raised and still resides in Yonkers with his wife Kristin and their 2 year old twins Martin and Charlotte. Martin attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and majored in Business Administration.
Martin Ball joined Customers Bank as Vice President to help with their retail expansion into the New York marketplace. In November of 2011, Customers Bank opened their first NY branch at 102 South Ridge Street in Rye Brook, NY in the Rye Ridge Shopping Center which has grown to over $250 million in deposits in less than a year.
Customers Bank provides a full range of banking services to small and medium-sized businesses, professionals, individuals and families. Their name reflects their passion to put the needs of their customers first by providing them a new level of high tech, high touch banking convenience and customized service. Martin holds his Series 6, 63 and 26 Licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority or FINRA, he has his New York State Life and Health Insurance License, as well has his New York State Notary License and also a registered member of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)
Mr. Ball is very active in his community. Martin is the Secretary for the Board of Directors for the Greyston Foundation and Chairman of their Real Estate Committee. He also sits on the Board of Directors as Secretary for the Beczak Environmental Education Center. He is a Westchester Leader for Habitat for Humanity and sits on the Advisory Board for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTA). Martin has also been involved with the American Cancer Society’s Annual Yonkers Relay for Life, and most recently became the Chair of the March of Dimes – Westchester Region.
