Meet Sportech

Sportech’s store manager, as well as sports enthusiast and avid volleyball player, Soung Kim was born a health and fitness enthusiast.  He has always had a passion to help peoples’ wellbeing so that they could lead happier and healthier lives.

Soung grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended Drexel University in his home city.  After graduating college Soung moved to New York City and worked as a footwear and apparel buyer.  After spending a couple years buying for large corporations, Soung became the merchandise and store manager for Sports Authority.

Since 1997 Soung has been a cornerstone at Sportech, established in 1990.  Soung has helped evolved Sportech into a premier sporting goods headquarters.

Today Sportech is a very large supporter of the Westchester Children’s Museum and recently won the “Best Sporting Good Store” in Westchester County as voted in Westchester Magazine 2010.
