In an industry that can be pretentious and superficial, it’s refreshing to meet someone as personable & as humble as Adam Zuckerman. His presence is so low-key he may fly under many people’s radar. Authenticity and integrity has been his foundation that has carried him from sales assistant to fashion executive. His attitude reflects his laid-back left coast roots, layered with his Manhattan style. Zuckerman, a resident of Westchester, NY, seeks to bring this bi-coastal lifestyle to the ‘burbs with the Z Life.

As a graduate of the University of Arizona, the So Cal native headed to New York to pursue a fashion career in 1992. Adam has had the opportunity to work for several men’s brands including International News and French Connection. Under the Italian manufacturer Fila, he helped build the urban label Enyce from a $6 million upstart to the $115 million dollar acquisition by Liz Claiborne. In 2008 Zuckerman chose to vacate his position with Liz Claiborne after a twelve year tenure as VP of Sales, to pursue a retail dream he has had for years. Coming from the wholesale side of the business, Zuckerman understands the importance of building partnerships with his vendors as well as representing and protecting those vendors rigorously. Although Z Life is his first retail venture, Adam comes from a family of merchants and business owners. With a passion for product and an extensive resume in menswear that spans from young men’s, to athletic, to urban and contemporary, Zuckerman has what it takes to redefine today’s retail experience. When Adam is not minding shop, he spends time with his wife, RoAnne, and his two sons, Austin and Hunter. He’s an avid sports fan and plays basketball weekly.
