Fall Festival Fun!

Before the cold set in, Rye Ridge Shopping Center offered something very cool – Customer Appreciation Day. The event held from 1oam – 3pm on Saturday, October 26th featured live music, refreshments, face painting and window painting; along with coupons, discounts and giveaways.

Those familiar with Rye Ridge’s annual Halloween Window Painting event were in for a big surprise this year as Rye Ridge expanded a day for kids to an event that could be enjoyed by all ages and it was enjoyed to the fullest.

Rye Ridge Shopping Center treated patrons and passersby to free popcorn, candied apples, and candy.

Other freebies were offered in the form of miniature pumpkins, reusable tote bags, coupons, discounts and specials from participating retailers.

“We wanted to give a big thank you to all our tenants and their customers”, said Ashley Trimble of Win Ridge Realty. “But in the end, it became something much more – it was like a party for customers, store owners, employees, local residents. It was a lot of fun.”

Topping it all off were the sounds of The Artie Tobia Band which offered an American mix of rock classics and original tunes. The band, based in New Rochelle, kept a steady stream of admirers smiling, dancing, and grooving to the music.

Adding to the festive air was face painter Teri Paris, who decorated over 70 cute little faces, and of course all the children (and their parents) responsible for the Halloween window paintings.

“The whole Rye Ridge community appreciates all our customers, everyday, and we try to show that daily with honest, dedicated service”, said Ashley Trimble, “but every now and then it’s important to just have some fun, and just share a good time.”
