We are pleased to announce that last night the Board of Trustees of Village of Rye Brook unanimously approved the site plan application for SoulCycle. We anticipate construction will begin shortly, once a building permit is issued. SoulCycle anticipates a summer opening.

Update to the inquiries received about the opening of SoulCycle at Rye Ridge:

SOULCYCLE APPROVAL

For all of those anxiously awaiting SoulCycle’s opening we are pleased to share with you that the application first submitted by SoulCycle to the Village of Rye Brook in November 2012 is scheduled for a Public Hearing next week, on March 12th at which time we hope the Village finally approves their occupancy, which would allow the Building Department to issue a construction permit.

Although SoulCycle will occupy less than 2% of the Rye Ridge project the Village required a lengthy and expensive site plan review process which initially necessitated an appearance before the Rye Brook Board of Trustees who then referred the application to the Rye Brook Planning Board. Upon securing the recommendation of the Planning Board the process requires that SoulCycle appear before the Board of Trustees a minimum of two more times, once for a discussion and then for a Public Hearing.

Representatives of Win Ridge Realty have been in attendance at each of these meetings in support of SoulCycle’s application and have been attempting to have the Village reconsider its zoning to streamline this process for future tenants.
